چکیده مقاله
Nowadays, considering that the education process has taken a form of a virtual meetings and students need to use Internet resources such as websites to follow their learning process, this research is carried out on the Coursera educational website that presents different courses in various fields. The purpose of this study is to analyze the Coursera website and evaluate it in terms of the four criteria: the authors, motivational biases, evidences, and timeliness of its content. It has been concluded that this website is such a good educational one that provides the learners with various science topics presented by proposed professors from the best universities of USA and gives them creditable certificates. According to the findings, we got enough and worthful information about the authors of this website and as mentioned, Daphne Koller and Andrew Ng which had co-founded Coursera in 2012, are experts in their fields and the information about them can be easily accessed through search engines. According to the findings related to motivational bias, we came to this point that this website cooperates with some other companies and brands that might affect the way they are supposed to act there. About the evidence of this website, it can be easily understood that this educational system has got the validate sources of science as the tools for teaching. Finally, about the timeliness, it is clearly observed that the contents presented at this website are up to date and there was no sign of outdated and unsuitable titles.
