چکیده مقاله
One of the major challenges for teachers in teaching a second/foreign language, is teaching writing skill. This research has sought to find the type of feedback that teachers believe results in development of writing tasks. This research has been done qualitatively. The data of this study were collected through virtual interviews with ten Farsi teachers to foreigners. Participants have had teaching experience at all levels (beginner-intermediate-advanced). they were asked about the effect of different types of corrective feedback, direct or indirect, and oral or written on the development of writing skill, and then the data were collected and analyzed. Interviews are designed based on the direct or indirect nature of corrective feedback and how it is presented in tasks. After reviewing and analyzing the data, the teachers' opinions were as follows: 1. The combination of providing direct and indirect feedback will have better results. 2. They emphasized the importance of explaining the goals of writing tasks for language learners. 3. All participants stated that they use both oral and written methods to provide feedback.
Participants believed that if the learner became aware of his / her mistakes, he / she would correct them in the next assignments and his / her writing skills would improve.
