The Role of Emotional Intelligence to Improve Language Teaching (Case Study in Schools of Khuzestan)

In today's complex global environment, emotional intelligence remains a key topic of concern among managers worldwide. The paper is undertaken to understand the role of managers’ emotional intelligence to improve language teaching in the schools of Khuzestan. Data {N = 145} for this study were collected through questionnaires that participants were managers of high schools. The aim of this paper assess the emotional intelligence especially adaptability of managers to face improving of language teaching. This paper explained adaptability that has a high relationship with improving the language teaching among managers .Individuals in the schools with high adaptability tend to have higher emotional intelligence and this action lead to improve language teaching at schools. Adaptability of emotional intelligence in this paper can be classified into problem solving, reality testing, and flexibility. The result of the paper shows a strong correspondence between adaptability of emotional intelligence and improving of language teaching in schools.
